All K9 detection dogs are certified annually by the Justice Institute of BC in Patrol, Narcotic Detection or Explosive Detection.
Patrol Dogs are certified by the Justice Institute of British Columbia on an annual or semi-annual basis. Detection dogs are certified by the Justice Institute of British Columbia annually, and will soon be certified in the upcoming Transport Canada Explosive Detection Dog Handler Team program (EDDHT).
The presence of K9 security services sets the tone for a safe environment, these highly trained specialized teams are there to make people feel safe wherever they may be.

K9 Patrols
Patrol dogs are utilized in areas where a Security Professional is at a higher risk or if there is a larger area to patrol. While they are trained to be safe with members of the public, they can also defend their handler when necessary. Their acute sense of smell and hearing make them more effective than a camera or human. In the dark, they can become a Security Professional’s only effective sensors.
Our dogs are well trained to ignore people going about their daily business, yet they are very to quick to pick up on unusual behavior and suspicious activities. Criminals and vandals avoid areas where patrol dogs are known to operate, adding an extra crime deterrent.
